Perhaps I was counting my chickens before the eggs hatched.

Got very, very close to getting an original series commissioned. It still might happen, but it’s now been put on the long finger for reasons that have nothing to do with the project itself so it would seem.

However as a friend of mine says “If you keep swinging the bat, you’ve got to hit a ball some time.”

It just feels like they’re pitching eggs at me instead of balls... so those chickens will never hatch.

This week I’m at the Galway Film Fleadh. Time to promote To Dream With Open Eyes. Hopefully get to see some good movies. I’m really looking forward to seeing Charlie Casanova not sure if I will love it or loathe it... One things for sure you can’t ignore it. i very much admire what The director has done... getting a film made from nothing... So Terry McMahon deserves plaudits for that alone. The man seems to have incredible energy.

Other than that it’s a question of cracking on with ideas and hoping a commission lands my way soon.
