So what’s happening?

Bootstrap Films have just optioned DUMPAILTE the hope is that we’ll raise €1 million to make it. I’ll be directing.
It’s the story of an isolated farmer Donal O’Creachain, who discovers the body of a young woman in one of his fields. He takes the body home, washes it, dresses it, and starts a conversation.
When the corpse Aisling, starts to talk back we she wants to know who killed her and why? It’s dark, funny and just a little disturbing. DUMPAILTE won this years pitching award at the Galway Film Fleadh.

Other projects I’m working on include a Feature Script based on my award winning play BOX.

And SAOIRSE a feature about a man who tries to commit suicide only to find that other people’s lives flash before his eyes.

Of course this year will mostly stand out for the release of COVIES Ireland’s 1st online soap. The official site is undergoing some renovation so if you want to catch up with the series you can do so via the Covies page here

Covies has over 3000 fans on Facebook

It also won the Allianz Buisness to Arts Award for Creativity 2010.

And Sarah Carroll won best actress for her performance as Bridie in Covies at The Underground Cinema Awards.
